Welcome to the Sapphire Board and thank you for posting facts, opinions and discussions, referrals and references. In the past some posters have brought up legal issues. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has assembled a FAQ which looks at these issues from a US legal point of view. The link is: www.eff.org/issues/bloggers/legal/liabilityYou will find that government data is generally in the public domain, since Judicial Proceedings are public their fact can be referenced and copied, please identify the source if doing so. We will not object to postings such as: corporate data, bankruptcy filings and criminal records as long as such are coming with references from the public domain and are related to the discussion and necessary to understand an argument and opinion. For example if you object to someone providing financial services because he has applied for bankruptcy prior to the offering we believe such is related and of public interest. However do not publish someones private address and contact details if the have not been posted by such individuals themselves and always reference the source.
