UKIPA, as I state I am neither Israeli nor Palestinian so I just quote from past history and present events:
1) FIRST: The premise the guy is making is not complete. Back in 1947 that territory was assigned to the Jews because of only ONE VOTE favorable to the Jews being in that area, assigned by only ONE COUNTRY (I will refrain from naming the country) which finally accepted to give a favorable vote because MONEY WAS PAID TO THAT COUNTRY. That means there was a 50% chance of Israel not being where it is now and maybe a lot of problems would have been avoided.
2)SECOND: Problems do not happen all at once, but they can get "exasperated". What is happening now is that that since the Israeli military is WAY SUPERIOR in technology to Hamas, Hamas had to go underground and play its "Trojan card" to surprise what is perceived as "the enemy" and counter its attack.
3)THIRD: The economic TRUTH must be told: Israel is aiming at the "GAS RESERVE" within the Palestinian territory. Israel is afraid that the possible future revenues would be used by the Palestinian not to improve its infrastructure BUT to further attack Israel.
4)FOURTH: Being from an outside country where the media are not so controlled by the Jews (maybe indirectly only) the stress is focused on the outnumbering dead on the Palestinian side vs. the Israeli side and on the Israeli methods used which are daily compared to those of another country during WWII.

Sorry, it went before I finished. The TRUTH must be told completely:
CONCLUSION:
1) Who helped the "intellectual Jews" to establish the Israeli territory so that they could live there, eat from the soil (it was a desert!) and drink water? The Palestinian agriculture men - the first Israeli did not even know how to till the ground....
2) The initial UN resolution and territory assignment was never respected. Not only, but as time went by the Israeli started eating up more and more territory. You say, it was necessary for defense, BUT, had the first resolution be respected, that would not have been necessary.
3) Since both Israelis and Palestinians claim be the "CHILDREN of ABRAHAM" it is high time they both start considering each other as part of the SAME FAMILY, stop quarreling like immature kids, and show their full potential in a positive way.

I thank you "Pymander" for sharing your thoughts and comments.
The bottom line is, as I see it: Ever since Qayin (Cain) killed his brother Hevel (Abel), the brothers have not stopped fighting with each other. I guess this is the price ha'Adham and hawwah have to pay for their original sin. Their children will never live at peace with each other.

If I remember right they lived side by side for a long while, Palestine was a sleepy part of the world 100 years ago.

Sorry, I forgot to post the first link, here it is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration for those who are interested. I actually have friends on both sides of the conflict and they do not fight with each other. However, I do agree with both of you, UKIPA and Niseag in that, the 2 brothers conflict is a recurrent theme in the history of the earth, whether in mythology, religion, history or present events. I do not want to go into the "reality" of the Khazar Jews vs. the original Jewish tribes, because there is "good and bad" there, too. Let's just say that behind apparently religious and/or ethnic and/or cultural and/or land conflicts there are long time economic interests, too. The point is when the HUMAN LIFE TOLL and especially the CHILDREN LIFE TOLL is growing, the conflict is NOT TO BE TOLERATED from any side. And as men history shows - I mean history planned and wanted and made by men proves - those two-party-conflicts are often instigated by an IMMORAL THIRD PARTY who is behind the scenes and ultimately profits and makes high profits. I leave it at that for those who have ears to hear...
