CID to look out for Thilini’s fake ‘gold bar’ makers
Thilini even cheated her boyfriend Bandara giving 10 brass blocks as gold:
The Criminal Investigation Department has begun investigations into individuals who made brass bars which were used by scammer Thilini Priyamali to deceive businessmen as gold bars.
The CID investigators said that the brass bars have been made in a way that they appear to be gold bars the investigators believe that they can unravel more information from the persons who made these brass bars.
Investigations have revealed that Thilini Priyamali cheated many businessmen by pretending that these brass blocks were gold bars and saying that they would sell the gold and give them money.
Thilini had cheated her boyfriend Isuru Bandara, who had shown himself to be her husband, and gave these 10 brass blocks as gold.
